Recovery of NHS dentistry services
Background
The inquiry will track progress on the aims set out in the NHS Recovery Plan 2021-2026. This includes a commitment to return NHS dentistry services to pre-pandemic levels.
The inquiry will track progress on this commitment, with a focus on the following issues—
- Whether funding has improved ventilation and other equipment;
- Whether NHS dentistry services have recovered to pre-pandemic levels; and
- How access to services is being targeted in communities that experience health inequalities.

The Committee has launched a survey to understand dentists’ views of the recovery of NHS services.
