Stuart Black, Chief Executive and Nick Kenton, Director of Finance and Corporate Services, Highlands and Islands Enterprise; and

3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2024-25 (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting and agreed to consider a draft letter to the Scottish Government in private at a future date.

The Committee considered a letter from the Convener of Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee about proposed rule changes relating to refusal of legislative consent motions. The Committee agreed a response.

5. Work programme (In Private):

The Committee agreed the format for the Business Planning Day session, agreed to hold it in the Parliament and to invite external contributors.
