Sarah Boyack declared an interest as having previously worked for the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.
The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 1 and agreed its call for views. The Committee also agreed to take discussion of evidence on the inquiry in private at future meetings.
The Committee considered further options for scrutiny of AI’s potential impact on the Scottish economy and agreed its approach.
The Committee considered and noted its work programme. It agreed to keep the commercial assets where the Scottish Government has a financial stake and the visitor levy under review, and to seek a written update from the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland and an update from the Scottish Government on expected mental health moratorium regulations.
