To ask the Scottish Government how much has been provided to Citizens Advice Scotland from levy funding in each year that the levy has been in place.

The Levy funding for Consumer Advocacy was devolved to Scottish Government 23 May 2016. Debt advice levy funding was devolved to the Scottish Government on 1 January 2019 . The following table sets out annual funding provided by Scottish Government.

*** Previously, the Scottish Government grant funded CAS to provide the Scottish part of a GB-wide consumer helpline, known as the Citizens Advice Consumer Service (CACS). CAS subcontract to Citizens Advice Direct (CAD) to deliver the line. The contract expired at the end of the last financial year, and Scottish Government now fund Advice Direct Scotland, formerly CAD, directly from April 2019

The Scottish Water Consumer Advocacy Levy was devolved to Scottish Government 1 April 2014, the following table sets out annual funding each year by Scottish Government;
