That the Parliament understands that Houston United FC, a football club based in Houston, Renfrewshire, won the Greater Glasgow Premier Amateur Football League (GGPAFL) Cup on 30 May 2025 by beating Kirkfield United 8-0; further understands that this cup win is the club’s first trophy in 10 years; congratulates the manager, Ryan Bogle, his management team and all the Houston United players on this historic win; celebrates that Houston United FC is a community club that is open to all ages and has given local boys, girls, women and men from Houston the opportunity to take part in a competitive team sport, and wishes the club the very best for the future and in its endeavour to win more silverware.
