Congratulating Kirstie Law on her RCN Scotland Adult Nursing Award

That the Parliament congratulates Kirstie Law, emergency nurse practitioner at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on her RCN Scotland Adult Nursing award; acknowledges that the award recognises nursing staff who have raised the standards of care for their patients and made an outstanding contribution to care; praises Kirstie’s efforts in training junior doctors and nurses and on the development of ear, nose and throat nurse practitioner roles; commends what it sees as her pioneering role in developing an alert system for patients with a tracheostomy to ensure they receive appropriate care, and wishes her well in her nursing career.
