That the Parliament congratulates the 1st Dalbeattie Scout Group on reaching the 100th anniversary of its registration on 4 September 1925, marking a century of adventure, learning and community spirit; recognises what it sees as the group’s significant contribution to the lives of young people in Dalbeattie and the wider Dumfries and Galloway area through outdoor education, leadership development and civic engagement; celebrates the raising of the Scout flag atop Dalbeattie Town Hall and the planting of a holm oak tree in Colliston Park to commemorate the milestone; commends the long-serving volunteers whose dedication and service exemplify the enduring legacy of the Scout movement, and wishes the group continued success in inspiring future generations to get involved.
