What I Need in Life Service Shortlisted for a Prestigious Regeneration Award

That the Parliament congratulates Routes to Work South, which has a base in Cambuslang, on its What I Need in Life (WIN) service being shortlisted in the Removing Barriers to Employability category at the 2025 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration; notes that the category recognises projects that support community regeneration by providing skills and employability support to help people fulfil their potential; understands that WIN is a holistic service co-designed by clients and delivered in Rutherglen and Blantyre, which adopts a whole-person approach to focus on improving wellbeing, resilience and motivation to increase individuals’ confidence and give them hope for the future; commends the staff at Routes to Work South for their continued commitment to helping people overcome complex barriers and progressing into employment, and wishes the team all the very best in their future endeavours.
