That the Parliament welcomes the award of £20,000 to Strathard Community Trust from the National Lottery; understands that this will fund the continued employment of a development officer, who will support a wide range of volunteer groups in the area; notes that Stirling’s Lord Provost joined with residents and friends of Strathard at the Aberfoyle Memorial Hall to pay tribute to local people; believes that the award reflects the hard work of the development officer and the Trust, as well as the numerous volunteer groups who enhance the lives of the people of Strathard and surrounding communities, and extends its very best wishes for the continuation of what it sees as the great work going on in the area and the strong community spirit that underpins it all.
