That the Parliament congratulates Robert Smith, founder and CEO of Group Recovery Aftercare Community Enterprise (GRACE), on receiving the British Empire Medal (BEM) for his outstanding service to the community; acknowledges that, for over 13 years, GRACE has provided what it sees as vital support to local individuals facing challenges such as mental health issues, isolation, and addiction; commends its work in creating a safe, peer-led environment that fosters confidence and wellbeing through activities such as yoga, digital learning, creative writing, and gardening; recognises its outstanding service to the community, and wishes Robert Smith and the GRACE team continued success in their future efforts across East Dunbartonshire.
