This Cross-party group's purpose:

a. To foster good relations between the Scottish Parliament and the Assemblée national and Sénat in Paris.

b. To celebrate the Auld Alliance between Scotland and France.

c. To provide a forum for discussion and information-sharing about Scotland and its relations with France.

d. To provide MSPs with a source of information and expertise on issues relating to France and French affairs.

e. To bring together MSPs and those with an interest in Franco-Scottish relations to promote co-operation between Scotland and France.

f. To provide a forum for French citizens in Scotland and Scottish citizens in France to inform MSPs about issues of concern to them.
