On 20 September 2025, in my capacity as the Deputy Convener of the Cross Party Group on Horseracing and Bloodstock Industries, I attended the Ayr Gold Cup at Ayr Racecourse along with a guest, courtesy of Ladbrokes Coral Group plc (a betting and gambling company of 5th Floor, The Zig Zag Building, 70 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6SQ). The value of the gift, which comprised of two tickets and hospitality, was £750+vat. [Registered 23 September 2025]
On 1 February 2018 I received 150 bottles of beer from Tennent Caledonian Breweries Wholesale Limited (a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded alcoholic drinks of 10 Compton Way, North Newmoor Industrial Estate, Irvine, KA11 4HU). The bottles of beer were used to promote my proposed Tied Pubs (Code and Adjudicator) (Scotland) Bill. I estimate the value of this in kind support for the beer bottles and labels to be approximately £450.
On 17 February 2017 I launched the consultation on my proposed Tied Pubs (Code and Adjudicator) (Scotland) Bill. Since then I have received in kind support and expect to receive further in kind support from the GMB Scotland (a Trade Union, of Fountain House, 1/3 Woodside Crescent, Glasgow, G3 7JU) and Tennent Caledonian Breweries Wholesale Limited (a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded alcoholic drinks of 10 Compton Way, North Newmoor Industrial Estate, Irvine, KA11 4HU). The value of in kind support received from GMB Scotland is estimated to be just over £300. In addition I have received in kind support from Tennent Caledonian Breweries Wholesale Limited for design work, creation of a website and general media support. The value of the in kind support from Tennent Caledonian Breweries Wholesale Limited is estimated to cost around £5,000. I established that the donation was from a permissible donor and accepted it on 17 February 2017.

On 15 December 2024, I and a guest received tickets to the President's Suite at Hampden Park for the Scottish League Cup Final courtesy of the Scottish Professional Football League (Hampden Park, Glasgow, G42 9DE). On 16 November, I and a guest attended the BAFTA Scotland Awards at the invitation of Sky UK Ltd (of Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 5QD). The total value of the tickets and hospitality received amounted to £570. [Registered 3 December 2025]

On 2 November 2024, I and a guest received tickets to the President’s Suite at Murrayfield for the Scotland v Fiji match courtesy of the Scottish Rugby Union (Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, EH12 5PJ). The value of the ticket is estimated to be £300 per person, the total is estimated to be £600 for myself and my guest. [Registered 8 November 2024]
On 23 September 2023, I and a guest received hospitality including lunch and tickets to the Ayr Gold Cup courtesy of Scottish Racing (c/o Hamilton Park Racecourse Bothwell Road, Hamilton, ML3 0DW). The tickets and associated hospitality amounted to a total of £756. [Registered 19 October 2023]
