From 31 March to 9 April 2025 I travelled to Dharamsala, India, in my capacity as Convener of the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party Group on Tibet. I paid for my own travel and most of the accommodation, but the Tibetan Government-in-Exile paid for three nights’ accommodation at the Zambala Guest House, at a cost equivalent to approximately £50 per night (approximately £150 in total) based on the exchange rate at the time. In April 2021 the Scottish Green Party received £500 from the RMT Union for the purpose of supporting my campaign.
In June 2022 the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) provided me with overnight hotel accommodation at a value of £124 for the purpose of attending their Annual General Meeting in Dundee. [Registered 21 September 2022]
I am a member of Free Tibet.
On Sunday 21st January 2024 I attended a recording of the Mark Radcliffe Show for Radio 2 at the BBC's Glasgow studios. Although I was invited to attend in my capacity as an MSP, tickets for the recording were free and also available to members of the public. [Registered 23 January 2024]
