Remuneration and related undertaking

Until 15 March 2024 I worked as a land agent at Peter Graham & Associates, Land Agency Business (of New Elgin Road, Elgin, IV30 6BA) earning £52,500 per annum for working 5 days per week. I will sporadically offer unpaid support over next few months in 2024.

I am a sole trader and owner of Hillfords Farm, of Moray, a small sheep and arable farm. I expect to spend in the region of an average of 10 hours a week on this role. In 2022/23 I received £2,628 income from this farm. I also receive £3,500 from single farm payment and £300 from the Less Favoured Area Support Scheme (LFASS) per annum in connection with operation of my farm.

Until 23 October 2023 I worked as a Regional Manager at the Scottish Land and Estates (of Stuart House, Eskmills Business Park, Musselburgh EH21 7PB) earning £18,000 per annum for working 3 days per week.

I rent 35 acres of tenanted land owned by the Moray Council in the Moray local authority area with a market value of between £700,000 – £800,000 on repeating five-year short limited duration tenancy. I receive no income from this land and use it for my own farming business.

I own approximately 15 acres of land in the Moray local authority area with a market value of between £100,001 – £150,000. I receive no income from this land and use it for my own farming business.
