1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.

2. Scotland's public finances in 2023-24: the impact of the cost of living and public service reform:

The Committee took evidence from—

John Swinney, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for COVID Recovery, Gary Gillespie, Chief Economist and Scott Mackay, Head of Finance Co-ordination, Scottish Government.

3. Post-legislative scrutiny of the Financial Memorandum for the Children and Young People (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee agreed draft correspondence.

4. Work programme (In Private):

The Committee considered and agreed its work programme. The Committee also agreed to consider a proposed contingent liability in private at a future meeting.
